When I open any folder (e.g. Home, Document, Download) in Ubuntu's graphical user interface, I do not see any file or folder starting with "." (for example, .bash_history) i.e. hidden files/folders. I also do not see any option to show hidden files. How can I see hidden files?

To show hidden files in Ubuntu's graphical user interface (GUI), follow these steps:

  • Click the "Files" icon in the sidebar to open the file manager.
  • Press "Ctrl + H" on your keyboard to show hidden files.
  • Press "Ctrl + H" again to hide those files.

Let me know if it works for you.
