  1. This question is a bit tricky as it does not ask about the states’ ranking by population. It’s ranking of states by the largest city in terms of population.

    • Indeed it is.
I first thought it is about states ranking by population, but I was wrong.
      Thanks for your help.

  2. Only this website has correct population. Reddit and others have old population and you might get wrong answers.
    Thanks for compiling the answers.

    • You are right. I checked today’s reddit page, couple of answers are wrong.
Google is not showing this page on first page today, many will select wrong answers.

  3. Thanks for saving time. Wikipedia and even your reference has not compiled the answers properly. Your effort is appreciated 👍

    • The population of Columbus (Ohio) is ~900k and that of Wichita (Kansas) is ~400k. Not sure why Microsoft thinks it’s wrong. I checked several sources and found that these are the biggest cities in those two states.

  4. For some reason, between Massachusetts and Ohio, the correct answer is Massachusetts. I don’t know why. Just a heads up.

  5. For the MO vs GA option, they claim Atlanta is bigger than Kansas City, so your list above is incorrect for those rankings. Choose GA over MO for Bing’s purposes on this quiz.

  6. I picked Oklahoma over Kentucky and it was incorrect.
    15 Oklahoma City Oklahoma 701,266
    31 Louisville Kentucky 344,794

The largest city in Oklahoma by population
    Oklahoma City
    681,054 (2020)

  7. Same as some people have posted. I got “wrong” for answering Ohio over Kentucky, and also Wisconsin over Louisiana.
