[Quiz] Math word problems with answers on division and multiplication (set 1)

Welcome to Math Quiz number 12. These are grade 4 math problems to test basic division and multiplication skills. Most of the questions have a single correct answer. But you must check all options before submitting. If you don’t select all options, your answer will be wrong. Please do not use a calculator. Have fun!!!

John is playing a number selection game. He needs to select the largest 4-digit number that is also a multiple of 2. What number should John select?

Tom is also playing a number selection game. He needs to select the smallest 4-digit number that is also a multiple of 3. What number should Tom select?

Ravi purchased 12 boxes of sweets, each containing 35 sweets. He wants to distribute among 100 kids equally. How many sweets will each kid get, and how many will be left?

Lee wants to buy candies for his birthday party. He wants to give 12 candies to each of his 12 friends and 16 candies to his parents. How many candies should he buy?

The product of the two numbers is 48, and both numbers are greater than 5. What is the sum of those two numbers?
